The cause had less to do with sub prime loans than it did with derivatives on those loans. Point of the movie as well as what happens when you give children free reign of the money system. We can thank Regan, both Bushes and Clinton for not shutting it down. Then Bush who let the foxes in the hen house so to speak. There is less of a chance that only two congress men caused the theft investor money than the people at the helm. First person that touches the money wins. That's a Wall Street mantra. Bottom line is both Wall Street and Government (both sides) are to blame here. We the people are simply not being represented any longer due to greed on both sides.

Wall Street is not rocket science. But in our Financial System they call them self Creative Genius who came out all the new ways of toxic derivitives and package them in their own rating systems who sales to all the financial system world wide which also cause European financial crisis. The Investment bankers robs the world and Americans in their savings. Remember in the 90's there were free flowing credit cards when there are no credit checks. The Ponzi Schemes to package these sub prime loans to the world of financial world and create the world wide financial crisis. The point is U.S. white collar crimes has got out of hand the only way to solve this like Jefferson said "U.S. needs a revolution".
