Inkheart(2009)- User Reviews

After I scene Inkheart I just had to read the book. When I read Inkheart I found the film version had a lot missing. The film version definitely had a lot of tributes to the Wizard of OZ with the flying monkies, house from Kansas and Toto. In the book when Maggie finds out her ablity its not Toto who gets read out. Its Tinkerbell from Peter Pan. That's just one of the diffrences between the book and the movie. In the book not one Character from Wizard Of Oz was read out like in the movie. However the thought that one can read charcters and things out of fiction as well as going in is just fascnating. I love Inkheart for the mixture of well known stories and alternate endings that it uses.
