    This story was obviously written with the intent to have the audience cheer for wonton brutality and bloodletting.

    What is the point of this movie? Revenge seems to be the theme and revenge with a smile. In these times when we need more peace and joy it fuels the opposite. No doubt WWII was an atrocity but in this movie the good guys are as bad as the enemies. I suppose …more»

    If there was any movie that deserved the dreaded NC-17, this is it. Quenton Tarrantino, Sam Peckinpaugh, and Martin Scorcese are all cut of the same cloth.
