Another alien movie, but it might be the best. It was scary with lots of comedy by Will Smith. Plus the action was great, with awesome special effects for its time.more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

I know the works of Roland Emmerich tend to be either hit or miss, but Independence Day is an example of one of his good movies out there. It involves a basic alien invasion plot like many movies in that style with the humans trying to protect their planet …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

Definitely a 4th of July film. It could all the energy of the holiday and its meaning. Lots of laughs, fighting for freedom, the thought of world wide unity and lots of fireworks. Will and Jeff do an admirable job considering that they are an African …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

I saw this Tuesday, 7/2/96. It is the BEST summer blockbuster and will never be surpassed for all of time and eternity. The next greatest movie after this is The Matrix (1999).
In the future, these two truths will be made law.more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful
