The Impossible(2012)- User Reviews

Saw the movie yesterday, Jan 21st and although the movie is great, full of terrifying action and has a great ending, having the seen the many documentaries shown of the real beginning of the tsunami of 2004 that killed so many people, I wonder why the film was not started at the very beginning with the receding of the ocean from the beach, like tsunamis really start, instead of showing the tremors and right away the waves of water and debris without showing the unusual ocean receding phenomena. It lacked the part where people actually go to the beach as they wonder why the surf is receding! That was the only flaw, although I consider it a very big flaw. I worked with a man from Sweden who lost his best friend and all his family during that tsunami, so I know exactly how it happened.
