The Impossible(2012)- User Reviews

.In 2004 I felt empathy for the people and the enormous loss the tsunami caused, and then I forgot about it. This movie brought me back. It seemed like a very accurate view of survival, chaos, pain,loss, hope and the humanity that there was, It was very well done-you felt like you were there witnessing it-it is hard to witness it but there is hope there too. I think the title was about the family surviving but also about how impossible it was to have such a devastating natural event cause so much destruction in such a short period of time. I felt unsatisfied, like I should still be doing something to help now 9 years later because so many people lost so much. The next time I witness something terrible that happens in the world I will do more to help people-or maybe it will be me at the hands of some natural disaster or my family and others will help us.

I woke up this morning, having seen this movie last night, even more fulfilled by it, still very moved, layed in bed with my children and wife and felt immensely thankful for them. I highly recommend this movie.
