Identity Thief(2013)- User Reviews

My wife and I went into this movie thinking it was going to be hiliarious, especially after seeing Bridesmaids, and perhaps that was part of the disappointment. It had its moments of humor, but unfortunately most of them were expected due to seeing them in the previews. The movie overall had a surprising amount of down moments, almost like they were afraid to give the audience too much. Instead of entire hiliarious scenes like in Bridesmaid that left the watchers gasping for air, this movie had only very brief moments of hiliarity followed by extended down scenes that left the watchers wondering what just happened. If you are looking for one-liners that you will be able to use and laugh about later, like "What are you, a Kenyan?" (also from preview), then this movie isn't bad, but lower your expectations going in.
