Overall, this film was not quite as strong as the two previous efforts, but not by much. I found it to be a fun romp into escapist entertainment. The animation was top notch, as usual. The 3-D effects were done well, adding to the movie nicely, without being "in your face".
To me, the one thing that made the movie really worthwhile was the fact that they gave Skrat a lot of film time, in comparison with the last two. Of all the characters in the "Ice Age" universe he is, hands down, my favorite.
