Why was this movie made?
Why was Tilda Swinton needed to be in it?
Why did she have to be Russian?
Why would she have an affair with her son's friend?
Why would Antonio jeopardize his relationship with Edo?

This movie was, quite simply, terrible from start to finish. The clich�s in the imagery were laughable - crying statues at a death, bugs pollenating flowers during love making, a bird trapped in a chapel at a separation. I give foreign films a lot of leeway in terms of pacing, character development, story-line, etc. But after about 30 minutes of this movie it will become clear that neither the director, the writers, nor the actors have any idea where the movie is going …more»2 of 3 people found this review helpful-
