I Am Legend was not one of the best movies I've ever seen, but I enjoyed it. It wasn't a typical end-of-the-world movie with explosions and war violence. Instead, it gripped you with the story of one courageous man and his day-to-day struggles after he is stranded in New York City. The story was clever and Will Smith's performance was applause-worthy, as always, but there were things I feel could have been expanded upon and areas that were unrealistic. The ending was also a bit of a disappointment. What happened to the cure? What did the woman do with it? We see her get to the colony but what happened in the colony? The movie left me with questions, but that's expected with sci-fi. B- for direction, but otherwise an A-worthy movie.
