I always check out the user reviews before I head to the movies and so had high hopes for Hugo. My husband and I were bored out of our minds and still can't figure out why this movie is so popular. Both of us literally dozed off during the dull, long conversations and "what's the point?" plot. We enjoyed the 3-D effects, but I found the blurry parts hard on the eyes. Hopefully, they can develop 3-D so this doesn't occur. Glad for those who enjoyed it, but it sure wasn't for us.
