Hugo had a lot of potential and could have taken the creativity to a much greater height, but instead lacked strong characters and the slow pace of the movie retrained my imagination from exploring what could have been much more imaginable. The short description certainly does not tell you what this film is really all about. Maybe that's a good thing so that the viewer will find out for themselves.
