Great graphics, great characters, great voices, but,
POOR WRITING. If you are used to the witty and funny writing in "Despicable Me" or "Toy Story" (any of them), then you will be disappointed and then sleepy with the writing in this one.
Kids thought it was cute (but a Saturday night at the movies is fun in itself).
It was non-stop talking in the movie! Never a break to get a funny look or quirk from any of the characters! Way to much space filling dialogue (sometimes less is better).
I love animations but took at least one nap during this one!
Unfortunately with all the advertisement and hype, it will be tough for you to say no to the kids!
