Hotel Rwanda(2004)- User Reviews

Hotel Rwanda tells the story of a 5-star hotel manager in Kigali, Rwanda. It is 1994, and Paul Russesabagina is a Hutu living in a primarily Tutsi neighborhood with his Tutsi wife and family. When Hutu rage, caused by the Tutsis ruling the nation when the Belgians were in power, boils over into murder, Paul must save his family (and ultimately 1268 people) from death.

Today, the Rwandan genocide is happening all over again in Sudan. This movie opened my eyes to what is going on in Darfur and what needs to be done about it.

I give Hotel Rwanda two thumbs up.
