Hoppet- Production Details

The story about 12-year-old Azad, who is forced to flee Kurdistan with his mute brother, as their parents are arrested. They come to Sweden with their neighbours. In order to blend in with the family that hides him, he has to pretend that he is nine years old. Suddenly he's quite alone in a new country and doesn't understand the language. But with the help of a spaced-out hot dog vendor, the coolest guy in school and Kajsa Bergqvist maybe he can meet his real family again - he is a champion of the high jump.
