Here Comes the Boom(2012)- User Reviews

I wasn't expecting anything special about this film. Although it has the same formula as the old Rocky movie or newer Real Steel (good sweet underdog kind of guy), the film still makes good on a never boring and very inspiring film. I love Kevin James trainer (Bas Rutten), every scene with him was almost over the top and ridiculous, however his charm works well in his role. Salma Hayek did make the guys in the theatre say 'oh my god' a few times, but this is to be expected of her. What is this casting of Henry Winkler so often in these oddball comedies? I mean the guy doe s a one note performance here but why keep having the guy as a supporting star?

Plenty of laughs + some embarrassing moments too (cringe worthy). I did like the message the film tries to make about never quitting for the sake of children.
