Heartbreaker(2010)- User Reviews

If without Romain Duris (and the two supporting actors), this would probably be just a regular romantic comedy that follows the formula. He made all the difference - every line, every move, when he delivers it, it's so funny and memorable. You'll not only laugh with the character, but also feel his conflicts inside and empathize with him. He's given many facets to a character that if played by others, might be just simple and plain. I've read that Hollywood might be making an American version of this - well I know how that'll turn out. While watching this movie, I was thinking if Hollywood made it, it would be so bland and predictable, losing all the charm that Romain has brought out.
