I liked the movie. The content a little unsettling and maybe reflects the way society is and how it is evolving.

I give my respect to the actors / actresses involved. I don't think it can be easy to portray a character in a film especially with such strong topics as drugs and gangs.

The movie takes into account the different dynamics in a multi-cultural society. How the different cultures mingle and interact and how they are perceived by the authorities. A good example is the seen where the uptown gang goes to the latino's house to get revenge.... and the latino's goes into the uptown neighbour hood and get stopped by the police.

I think the movie captured the emotions of the characters well. It gave you a good sense of how the characters felt and the places they frequented.

I'm not always a fan of movies that reflect true life but this film really brings home the realities to me. I really enjoyed it and look forward to seeing the actors / actresses in other movies.
