Not accurate except that batista was a dictator much like castro was and is. Sympathetic to Castro , *robert redford* visited cuba and consulted him on this movie. which is a very bad source, considering he has been in rule 40 + years. so much for democracy. The movie is badly made, and potrays cuba as some sort of haven for evil before 1959. typical of hollywood's movie. disappointed with mr. redford.
