Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix(2007)- User Reviews

Let me just start off by saying I'm a true hardcore harry potter fan who religiously reads the books. I hated the first four movies and cannot stand when people say the movies are better then the books. Order of the Phoenix is my favorite book of the series so I was worried about how it would be portrayed through the movies.

what a surprise!

I was entertained throughout the whole movie and loved how it was similiar to the book.

good points:
-it had actual quotes from the book ("he's got style" "they told me you were intelligent" etc)
- they included those small funny scenes that mad eyou laugh out loud when you read the book (emotional range of a teaspoon, he's got style, etc)
- they put a huge emphasis on the D.A which is my favorite aspect of the series
- thersals were included
- trelawney getting sacked, umbridge, and the awkward cho chang situation were all done well
- fever fudges!!

negatives:
-it couldve been A WHOLE LOT DARKER
- the fight scenes were lame. there's so many parts of the battle that were left out
- ron and the brain???
- im dissapointed about the talk between dumbledore and harry at the end. dumbledore is suppose to explain the whole point of the phrophecy and it's bareley meantioned. If you didn't read the books you wouldnt pay attention to it!

as an avid reader I am satasfied with the outcome of this movie.
