Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows part 2, was one of the best out of the whole Harry Potter saga. There are some excellent scenes that make the plot have more excitement, these scenes have a power that the comparable moments in earlier movies did not have. When Harry, Ron and Hermione, the main characters, insinuate themselves into Gringotts Bank to steal the sword of Gryffindor, the effect is outrageous, and almost strange. Another great moment is when, Severus Snape, played by Alan Rickman, who played the role magnificently, is attacked by Voldemort's snake Nagini, and the viewers witness this only from behind a frosted glass screen; this is a very well-developed decision from director David Yates. The camera angles and the lighting during this scene made the scene much more intense, the shadows that are cast make everything much more suspenseful and powerful to some degree.
Also, a great aspect of this movie is that this movie used more classical type of orchestra unlike most movies, which use more modern songs, which people know and normally would like to hear instead of. Sticking to a more classical type of orchestra is better for this movie. This is because it makes the movie more dramatic and makes the movie have a more eerie. This type of music sets a mysterious mood at some point of the movie. At other points the music gives the feeling that the audience should keep watch because that scene is going to be a very important part of the movie. An example would be when the Dark Lord and Harry Potter are going through the last battle and the music in the background just made the scene much more dramatic. This type of music is more fit for this kind of fantasy movie.
Most of the Harry Potter films are family night movies because of the great story line and adventure that takes place throughout all of the movies. Watching this last one most families should make sure that if they do not like having their children watch a lot of violence then they should not watch this movie. This movie is very violent due to the fact that it is completely based on the famous and last battle of Harry Potter and Voldemort. My younger brother, who saw this movie, was scared at some points because it was so violent, bloody, and dim. There is also a lot swearing that can create a problem with younger children. Over all the movie was a great movie and should be watched.
