Absurd

Why would a woman go running into the midst of war to find a husband she believes is alive even though she’s been told he’s dead? And even if he were alive when she spoke to him on the phone as she believed, how could she be certain he’s still alive by the time she catches up with him if she manages that? And what abandoning her kids and possibly make them orphans?

On top of that, another guy goes running after her risking his neck needlessly because he “cares about what happens to her.” It’s all complete insanity. I would feel guilty dragging all those people through hell despite their admonitions.

All you see are civilians killed left and right, repeated scenes of car bombings and attacks and civilian casualties that would make any reasonable person turn around and run.

This is typical of formulaic fanciful romantic imagings of the writer. The great heroine drags everyone out to no man’s land to save her husband regardless of how many get killed in the interim. Just plain silly.
