My girlfriend and I saw an IMAX 3D advance screening last night, and the entire theater was clapping at the end of the movie. If you're a fan of things like the Supernatural tv series... you most certainly won't be disappointed. I mean this thing had witches, witch hunters, a troll, action, fight scenes, humor, cussing, gore, and three hot chicks (one with nudity). What more could you ask for in a brainless dark fairy tale action flick? Does it have some deep story line? No, but it's not supposed to. It's not meant to be that type of movie. Will it win an Oscar? Nope, but again, pretty certain no one ever thought it would. It is what is it... an action flick based upon a classic fairy tale, and they did a WONDERFUL job making it exactly that. Myself, my girlfriend, and everyone else in the theater really enjoyed it. It's a GREAT movie and I hope it does well enough for a sequel.
