Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters(2013)- User Reviews

I was so stoked at first to see this, then about half an hour to an hour later, I was begging for it to end. I don't even remember the story except that it started out like the classic fairy tale and as they grew up, they hunted witches in vengence. I just don't understand people in our society that like movies with 99.9% gore and only 1% story? Yes, Renner was very hot but the movie tried too hard to be a "Van Helsing" and "Brothers Grimm" comedic wise and trying to get that "dark" tone. I did enjoy how the coloring in the film made it feel like you were in this fairytale but unless you like blood-soaked moives, keep your money. This by far is the worst movie to start 2013. I just pray the Jack and the Beanstalk movie isn't so awful. At this point, Hansel and Gretel should have been eaten by the witch.
