Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters(2013)- User Reviews

Granted - this film won't win an oscar - it won't be on most people's "top 10 list"- but it is pretty freakin' fun to watch! In todays messed up world, it's nice to just be entertained at times and not think about anything. I thoroughly enjoyed Hansel & Gretel. It was what I'd describe as a comedy/action/fantasy. There was a kid next to me with his parents - I'd say he was about 9 or so. He kept laughing and each time Hansel or Gretel would get one over on a bad guy - or just suit up for some hero action - that kid would say... Oh yeah - or That's what I'm talkin' about!! It made it that much more entertaining. I'm so sick of reality TV I could scream - never watch the shows, but sick of them taking up space when good shows with real actors and real writers fall by the wayside. Give me paid professionals with a whimsical tale anyday! I'd say Hansel & Gretels sequel should be... Hansel & Gretel: Reality Star Hunters... I'd pay to see that! I just hope the 9 year old shows up for commentary!! Go see it --- have a guilty pleasure and don't feel guilty about it!!!!! Great acting by Gemma, Famke, Jeremy and the rest of the cast!
