Synopsis
As an early film in the burgeoning field of Mormon film, HANDCART provides a satisfying tale of religious conversion, love, and pioneering in the story of Samual Hunter (Jaelan Petrie). Hunter falls in love with the lovely Abigail (Stephanie Albach), but to be with her must convert to the Mormon faith. He does, and finds completion in his life through his faith, love, and the treacherous journey to Utah with the Martin Handcraft Company.
