Don't get me wrong the remake of this is good but nothing beats the originals in the film series. The direction and story line work so much better. There's more of a chase and complex backdrop that leaves you wondering why is he going after Laurie. Donald Pleasant as Dr. Loomis and Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie can never be replaced as those characters.
