I walked out after 15 minutes.
I love John Waters, and I have seen everything he has done, including the original Hairspray. I went today to see it, and decided to not have any biases.

I loved this movie.
Musicals make it or die in the first number, and
When Nikki Blonsky sings as she's riding a garbage truck to high school, you believe it. That suspension of disbelief is essential for a musical.
