The monologue delivered by Spencer Tracy in the end is what made the movie for me, because it was from the heart; it was how he truly felt for Katherine Hepburn. The story line itself was ground-breaking. An inter-racial couple in 1967 was an anomaly, though they were becoming more common, but to have it portrayed in a movie was amazing. Sidney Poiter was awesome and so was his co-star. I enjoy this movie everytime I watch it..especially the end. Isabel Sanford was a hoot, too.
