Ben Stiller is great in this movie...who knew he could be that serious. Interesting getting in side the mind of someone who had a breakdown. Enjoy seeing him interact with his old frinds. At times was slow....but enjoyed it.more»1 of 3 people found this review helpful-

This movie is so bad, it is hard to believe. People were booing it at the end. Its not even worth a $1 rental when it comes out on DVD, which should be in a day or two.more»3 of 5 people found this review helpful-

This has got to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It was unbearable. The director is an obvious idiot. The cinematography is TERRIBLE, the Score and soundtrack- a 1 or 2 out of 10 seriously. The script--weak- so weak you can hardly stand to …more»13 of 20 people found this review helpful-

Just left a mainly "elderly jewish audience" expecting to see Ben Stiller in a light movie about a young jewish man "stumbling" through life with his comedic family and friends. Instead the audience witnessed a struggling "de-generate" …more»2 of 3 people found this review helpful-

I'm surprised to read the terrible user reviews. Yes, this was no action-packed thriller - but nobody promised that it would be.
The characters did evolve throughout the film - but very little, because just like in real life, change is rare and …more»1 of 5 people found this review helpful-

Make a movie sans plot, coherence, drama or comedy. Well, maybe they did and this is it. Ben Stiller slides through this outrageous stealing of 2 hours of my life with nary a wink-wink. The characters are shallow, ill-defined and if there's a story …more»3 of 6 people found this review helpful-

As a person who paid to see your movie, I have to write that I am an unsatisfied customer.
Sure, movies do not have to follow a conventional story line. And yes, movies can be less about entertainment and more about an artistic statement or observation …more»5 of 9 people found this review helpful
