    We need more down to earth family movies like this. This was filmed in my home town and I know many of the extras in this movie. I thought it was great!!!more»

    Was there at Snyder,Texas when the movie was filmed, better in person,
    real good on the screen. George Strait did a very good job singing the Hokey Pokey.more»

    This is a great movie but it has major flaws, like the fact that the steer "hokey" kept chaning from steer to heifer (boy to girl). The showring seens are very unrealistic also. I have shown cattle all my life and thats not the way it goes. …more»

    This movie is just too family appropriate to be done in Hollywood!

    My kids laughed and laughed throughout the film and wanted to see it again!

    It's too bad that Grand Champion got NO Real release!more»

    I can appreciate the effort but the story was slow and awkward. It seemed to stretch out forever. My four year old asked me half way through if this was supposed to be a kids movie. The acting was bad but mostly by the 'stars'. The mom's …more»

    George was very good and bruce was so heart full
