I don't ever expect Oscar material in a DIE HARD movie. But I do expect a lot of engaging action and character bits. I've been to every DIE HARD movie on opening day. I wish that I had waited for daylight, though. This is not a BAD movie. It's just not a great DIE HARD movie. Even though there's a lot of running, driving and shooting while running and driving, WIllis looks like he's asleep for the whole thing. Killing bad guys. That's what you expect. John McClane being dull? No, thanks.
