A Good Day to Die Hard(2013)- User Reviews

I will first say the action scenes and some of the camera angles were pretty awesome. I know a lot of people were expecting this to be as good as the first one. Bottom line, that's not going to happen. The script seemed like many 1980's tv shows and movies, Russia the bad guys, cold war, etc. There really wasn't much story line, just lock and load up and lets go kill!!! But what made the first one epic was the bad guy Hans Gruber. But what made the previous 4 good, was a well defined bad guy. This one failed to deliver. You had several people throughout the film take the "bad guy" role. Which is why it probably didn't do so well.

What I'm hoping, is we get something like Rocky 5. The last one was horrible, left a bad taste in our mouth, then came the final one. Now it wasn't great, but it was a better way to end the series then with Rocky 5.

My wish for the last one...now that John has done movies where his family were in danger, (Holly 1 and 2) (Lucy 4) and (Jack 5).. I say we get them all back together as a family with the help of Sgt Al Pal back in the Nakatomi building. The bad guy is Hans Gruber's I dont know... son??? who is out to seek revenge for his father and uncle who were killed by John. Anywho, its an action pack movie that ends with Argile picking up the family in his limo with the credits rolling while you hear.."oh the weather outside is.."
