A film with Paul Dano and Zooey Deschanel? Why hadn't I heard of this?

I thinked the movie, but I'm not sure that I fully understood it. I kept waiting for an explanation--which i didnt recieve.

Look, I love Zooey Deschanel. She’s the only reason I even watched this movie. Zooey was fantastic in “Yes, Man” and outstanding in “(500) Days of Summer” but this movie fails badly. After watching Gigantic I understood why I'd never heard of it and I wished I had remained ignorant of its existence.

If you like nontraditional movies with characters who some may call bizarre, this movie is for you. It would be in a genera with movies like: Eulogy, Mumford, and maybe the Royal Tenenbalms. I wish there were more movies like this one.more»0 of 1 people found this review helpful-
