G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra(2009)- User Reviews

*Spoilers*. I watched GI Joe as a kid and enjoyed the animated series. As such, I had a few expectations of this movie. First off, the Baroness is suppose to be Russian and in-love with Destro. Instead she's Cobra Commanders sister and has a thing for Duke. The rise of Cobra is not suppose to begin with both Destro and Cobra Commander. Destro is suppose to come along later and overthrow CC as the leader. Would've like to see more character development for Cobra and include some additional characters like The Twins and Zartan. Also, why did Storm Shadow get killed in the 1st episode. He is one of Cobra's best characters and now any future sequels will either exclude him or have some kind of lame revival. Overall, this wasn't a complete train wreck, but it doesn't do the old timers justice either.
