Too sum it up, this film holds the essence of humanity. The people involved are not good or evil, and the situations are not truly good or evil, except for possibly the "husband" at the end, and the film in subtle humor maintains an array of …more»2 of 2 people found this review helpful-

I loved this movie. It was kind of quiet, not alot of action, but when you listened close you found a real life drama of saddening events that cause a man to go into hybornation of sorts and then wanting to be at peace before he dies. Totally amazing …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

I got this film from Netflix and I thought that this film was outstanding. I give "Get Low" an A and 3.5 out of 4 stars. It had all of the awesome actors especially one of my favorite actors... Bill Murray. I thought that the story was very …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

Get Low suffers from a weak story. The acting is fine. The conclusion we are all waiting for is not a big deal. What Duvall's character has secluded himself for makes little sense in the end. What he did was not unheard of even for the time period …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

I like it. It reminded me of a movie from the 80s. It was slower and driven by dialogue and a pretty good story. As always, Duvall and Murray were good and interesting to watch. The entire movie led up to a big reveal at the end. The problem is that …more»1 of 1 people found this review helpful-
