Whether that chaos is self-imposed or part of bigger picture, the results can be both shattering and enlightening. In Garden State, director/screenwriter/star …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

Garden State is funny, sweet, and heartwarming film that follows the self-discovery of one man after he travels to his home state of New Jersey. Zach Braff does a great job of becoming something other than JD, the guy from Scrubs. And, obviously, Natalie …more»0 of 1 people found this review helpful-

It wasn't the best movie for any of the great actors in it. It was okay, but not great. I think it was a little on the boring side.more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

While watching this movie, I sometimes forgot that these were actors because they were so good. Natalie Portman is one of the best female actors I have ever seen and played the character of "Sam" great. The movie is about Zach Braff's …more»1 of 2 people found this review helpful-

Garden State is a movie trying to be something it's not. I have seen Natalie Portman's acting, and Garden State does her no justice. This movie was completely pointless. This movie seems like it was made for kids who grew up in a rich household …more»10 of 26 people found this review helpful-

Wow ... there were VERY few chuckles in this film to ever be called a comedy. Zach is a great actor - Scrubs is one of the best sitcoms out there. But this movie was really bad. I want that hour and half of my life back!more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

This movie is such a feel good film. I watch it whenever I'm having a bad day. It does a really good job of portraying the emptiness life can bring about and also the beauty we can find in the simple things. Great moviemore»0 of 0 people found this review helpful
