Gangster Squad(2013)- User Reviews

My wife and I went to see this movie and quite frankly, it was pretty good. Not the best acting in the world (although Sean Penn was GREAT), but you got a feel for the era and the shoot'em up scenes were great. If you go to movies for the entertainment value and not pick apart every frickin thing wrong with a film, you'll enjoy this gangster flick. And that is exactly what it is, a gangster flick. They definitely took liberties on the movie I will say that but they do tell you its 'inspired' by real events. There is not a whole lot historically accurate in this film so keep that in mind if you go. Overall, Good Movie.
