Josh Brolin is a fine actor that can be a villian in one movie and seamlessly a hero in another movie, In Gangster Squad Josh is terrific. Ryan Gosling is the next Paul Newman. And Chaveznista Sean Penn is always good even though Mickey Cohen was bald-headed. I guess Sean didn't have it in him to shave his head for realism.. Great ensemble. The LA Squad movie has been portrayed in many movies in the past but Brolin gives this movie heft!
