What I found interesting about the movie was the idea that Los Angeles was so corrupt in those days and Mickey Cohen was so powerful. I also wonder how much of the movie was true. Sean Penn did a great job of acting and I normally don't like him. Another plus was sense of duty that the charactor Josh Brolin played. We need more people like that.
Seeing the old cars, hearing the music of those times, etc. took you back in time and was fascinating. There were also humorous parts to the movie even though it was a serious movie. Some parts were a little corny but overall it was a fun movie to watch.
I usually don't like movies with a lot violence and shooting in them but I liked this one.
