Gangster Squad(2013)- User Reviews

The film was entertaining but cliched all the way through. It is the typical gangster yarn so there is nothing here you haven't seen before. While there are some fine action sequences the actors overall aren't given much too do except fire off tommy guns that seem to never end and of which it seems they never hit any of the targets but then again the police squad characters are all portrayed as idiot or at least non thinking brutes so that is no surprise. I don't know if this really happened the way the scenes depict them but if they did the 1950 was filled with a bunch of idiots. See the film and you will know what I mean.
