This movie is well-acted ... since it was a widely viewed interview, it's possible to see the clips mentioned in the movie; search youtube for "Frost Nixon interview"

It's not really a history lesson, it's about two men's struggle with their integrity vs. passions, and how when their lives intersected they were changed. They both seem to win, as much as is possible in their circumstances.
