Friday the 13th(2009)- User Reviews

People who like to automatically say the original is better, sorry but for Friday the 13th the remake is by far the best in the entire series. A close 2nd would be Jason Takes Manhattan since I absolutely loved the darker atmosphere of that film overall. In the remake none of the rest of the actors are nothing special aside from the fact that there not the 80s versions of very similar characters from past films, but Jason himself is what really stands out in this film, he seems bigger, meaner, and just has more adrenaline in this one then past Jasons. Plus it's nice for the entire film to have a more modern setting to it instead of 80s. The kills themselves are also portrayed far better in this movie then the others.
