There is nothing fresh about it. They had a good idea with the plot, missing sister and brother tracks her down. But, Jason keeps her prisoner = dumb idea. Why does he keep her prisoner? Over a locket? Why over a locket? Did he have a sister - no. And Jason hates anyone that has sex because he died because the counselors were having sex. So we know he wasn't keeping the girl as a slave or girlfriend.
Some of the visuals were too dark even for an HDTV to show clearly.
Most of the movie was sex scenes! The more Friday the 13ths that are released the dirtier they get. I should have known better than to hope that they would go back to the old way of making horror - the type that actually scare the crap out of you. Never screamed once during the whole disturbing experience! I've seen scarier youtube videos!
