I was a big fan of the older movies growing up. I had high expectations for this film, but it didn't come close.
The movie tried to be scary, but it suprisingly isn't, although this is the most intense and brutal Jason Voorhees yet. The acting wasn't that bad either. All the kills are really crazy too.
Overall it's not a bad film, but compared to the remakes of Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Halloween it doesn't quite cut it unfortunately.
