I heard a lot of hype going in that this was one of the great sports movies of all time. Equal to Hoosiers, yada yada. Well, in my opinion it didn't live up to the hype. It was an ok movie but that's about it. It had it's moments and it tried to get you connected to the characters so you'd care about their stories, but somehow I still didn't. The football scenes were pretty cool, but all in all I'd wait till video if you're interested in seeing this. I think Water Boy was more entertaining overall.
