"Friday Night Lights" did nothing for me except make me glad I don't live in a small town. I like for my sports movies to be inspiring but this one wasn't. In fact, it was downright depressing. "Miracle" remains my favorite sports movie of 2004 so far. I do not recommend "Friday Night Lights" for anybody but hard-core football fans.
