So poor that, for the 1st time, I feel driven to tell the world. No point to most of the sub plots. Also, the worst 'twist' at the end in movie history: her dad actually wets himself with fear, so she and her boyfriend bottle it up for the duration of the film, but eventaully confess. Awful. Awful. Awful. And why Forest Whittaker has to get his arm broke, is still a mystery to me. I watched this film with intelligent adults, and not one of us saw the point. Why is Guy Pearce drugging his wife, and what makes him change his mind? What is the message behind Kate Beckinsale's character? She's a single mum, struggling to raise her child, so sleeps around for no apparent reason. I may not sound it, but I am stable person, and I cannot stress to you enough how annoying this film is.
