This film pretty much deservedly became a classic from the get- go from its great lines and Tom Hanks as gentle simple man Forrest Gump that achieved so much, from pro American football to Vietnam to Professional Table tennis among others is truly inspiring at times funny as well as sad making this film winner of 6 oscars.
