A guy goes to Hawaii to try to forget about his cheating TV sitcom girlfriend who he had been dating for five yrs.,but as cruel luck would have it,she is staying at the resort hotel with her new funky and grimey rock star friend,that he's checking into!
While the movie has its funny moments and some ha ha quotes,ie.,
"...so u can stop crying now."
"...shoo yourself off the rocks so as not to drown.",
"...so thank you for not dating (grimey) him before me."
...so does that hat come with the Buena vista club?" in sum,the movie is unoriginally trite and mundane and so did devilish and superficial Sara Parker get a face lift when her mole was removed for the movie role???
Besides surfing and cliff diving into the ocean,
one sure fire way to forget past friends is by trekking up to Diamond Head,that monster climb is a cure all for anything and everything!
I did that trek and can remember it all too well!
At movie's end,however he does trade his bad gal pal in for the cute concierge at the resort hotel.
